Cambridge Festival 2023: The Great British Elm Hunt (aka our Herbarium Hack)

For the Cambridge Festival 2023 we ran a two-week herbarium specimen transcription event. Members of the public used the online platform Zooniverse to transcribe the label information on nearly 1,300 elm specimens held in our collections. This allowed us to spread the word about our collections and also extract important data from our specimens.
